This privacy statement describes how we collect and use the personal information you provide to PublishersLink.

Our newsletters provide users the opportunity to opt-out of receiving communications from us by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the newsletters. If you opt out, we may still send you non-promotional communications, such as those about your account or our ongoing business relations. We will respond to your opt out request to access within a reasonable time frame.

By using our website or registering for an account with PublishersLink, you consent to the transfer of your information to Canada, the United States, Europe, or any other country in which PublishersLink or its subsidiaries, affiliated entities or service providers maintain faciliites.
SECTION 6 - THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The information you provide to access our submissions database allows third party partners (i.e. publishers and agents) to contact you regarding the work you submit. By using this service, publishers may make a solicitation for formal review of a project from the writer for further development or a contract proposal. Your contact information is only available to our partners for this purpose and is not publicly displayed on our site. Only list the contact information that you are comfortable disclosing for purposes of this service. If you are represented by an agent, you should provide your agent representative's contact information instead of your own.
Remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located in a different jurisdiction than either you or us. So if you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located.

The security of your personal information is important to us. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. PublishersLink will be the controller for the user data as outlined above in this Policy.
If PublishersLink is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to sell products to you. We’ll notify you of the change either by sending you an email or posting a notice on our Website.
